Upcoming feature: search in coding rules

Starting from version 0.8, in Coding Rules settings tab you can use friendly search engine which helps you easily navigate through coding rules.

There are two kind of search:
1) using search window, which limits number of visible nodes to only that which contains given phrase (please see the picture below).



2) simply typing text having focus on tree panel. In that situation number of nodes doesn’t change and first node which contains given phrase will be selected (please see the picture below).



Please also note that above search takes under consideration not only coding rule name but also its desctiption.

For example, if you want to find all PMD rules, just type pmd in the search field and notice that only “Powered by PMD” rules are visible in the tree.
